This chapter will prepare you to work with all
Microsoft Windows 2000 based
applications. Learning how to use Windows is as essential as learning to read a
book. Think about when you were a small child. Learning to read was a daunting
task, but once you mastered one book, you were ready to try reading another. Then
you felt even braver, and ready to try to read many different books. Soon you had no
difficulty reading any unfamiliar book. Microsoft Windows is the same way. At
first this might seems like a lot to learn all at once, but as you gain more experience,
and practice, Windows will become second nature to you. Once you have mastered
Windows, all other Windows-based programs will be easier to learn at a rapid pace.
All the other Microsoft programs you will be learning. share many basic elements covered
